PC Origin store vs EA desktop game availability?

I have a game I am interested in on the origin store ( command and conquer complete collection) that says it's available with EA Play.  I get EA play trough my Xbox Games pass for PC. But Origin sto...

    Hey @Oakman_85 the games available through EA Play will differ per platform.

    As Ea Desktop is still in Beta then a number of games available on Origin are not currently supported on EA Desktop.

    If you wish to play a game that is only available on Origin through EA Play then you would need to be a member there, our membership is available on each platform for $4.99, or regional equivalent. There is no cross-platform subscription at this time. As such if you wish to use EA Play on different platforms then you will need an active membership on each.

OK Thanks! then I know I'll have to purchase it if I want it, at least for now. It's not like it's expensive for the content, but wanted to double check so I didn't purchase it in vain. 

Is it planned to have parity over Origins and EA Desktop or will they be 2 different services?
