PlayStation EA Play subscription not registering on linked EA account

I have an EA Play subscription purchased through the PlayStation store (on PS5), but for some reason when I look at my linked EA profile it says I do not have an active EA Play subscription associated with my account. I am not receiving any of the in-game member benefits when I log in to games through my console, and can't help but feel like the two issues are related.

    Hey all, our membership is available on each platform for $4.99, or regional equivalent. There is no cross platform subscription at this time. As such if you wish to use EA Play on different platforms then you will need an active membership on each.

    I'm having a problem where I purchased EA play FOR PLAYSTATION 5 and it's saying ON MY PLAYSTATION 5 that I don't have ea play membership.

    I literally just bought playstation plus, because that was the first error message, and then the second error message sends me to can't-connect html website, saying I need EA Play membership for UFC 5.

    So fine, I plunk down another 30 dollars for 12 months to EA play for Playstation 5, my PS5 console immediately popups up with WELCOME TO EA PLAY, but yet I STILL CAN'T PLAY UFC 5 online ranked or online career, after restarting my playstation over and over, and relogging into to everything. 

    What the hell is going on with this rip off? If I can't get support about this, I'm going to start taking camera shots and submitting a credit card chargeback.  This is unbelievable.

    Hey all, have you spoken with PSN support about these issues with their system?

    @EA_Darko When we buy a suscription of course we think we're buying it to be able to play on any platform. This is a FRAUD. Why don't you show a big message to let the buyer know what are we really buying? Shame on you!
