Prohibited real name

Its been more then 3 hours now and nobody's looking to this thread. Really???

Sorry to say @Shivamzter, but if a username is not accepted then you will need to use another name.

Hey @Shivamzter I am happy to pass your feedback on to the team but if a username is not accepted then I'm sorry to say that there is nothing that we can do on AHQ to change this.

There are a number of reasons why a username may not be accepted and all you can do is to try a variation on the username.

Please pass if you can because i already have this username on every single platform even activision which also seems to have this kinda filter, I would really really like this username.

Summarize your bug When I try to change my display name through the "Edit profile" option within the EA Desktop (Beta) app, any display name I enter gives an error that the chosen display name "contains a prohibited word or character".
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to change your display name to something a human would use.
What happens when the bug occurs? An error message is shown in red text below the Display Name text field: "Display name contains a prohibited word or character." and my display name is not changed.
What do you expect to see? My display name being changed.

When I try to change my display name through the "Edit profile" option within the EA Desktop (Beta) app, any display name I enter gives an error that the chosen display name "contains a prohibited word or character". This happens if I enter my own first name "Natasha", a shortening like "Nat", or my current EA ID "natarasee". This also happens if I just type random keysmash like "klfjdgdfg". Any string I can think to enter seems to be prohibited.

If this is because display names must be unique and the chosen text is already used by another player, the error message should say something like "this display name is already in use", not that the name contains "a prohibited word or character".

Hey @natarasee, if a username is not accepted then the best thing to do is to try a different one till you find one that is accepted.
