What I want to know and can't seem to find out from any of the news articles is what happens to people like me that pay for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate using the same email address?
Will I be able to link my 2 accounts together and not pay the £3.99 p/m to EA now as I get it all through Mircosoft?

I'm a PC guy but I also have an Xbox that I use to play with rl friends and it just so happens i'm also a game pass ultimate member, so this is fantastic news for me. To top it off the fact it will be available on PC means I don't need to buy the new Xbox because I can play everything on PC and still game together with my Xbox friends.
As I've mentioned in another post, this is a huge deal for Microsoft especially with the solid price they revealed on the new console today, great stuff!

What will happen to my subscriptions if I already have both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate & EA Play on Xbox?
When the EA Play member benefit unlocks for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, users who have both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play purchased through the Microsoft Store will have their EA Play membership canceled and any remaining time over 50 days will be rounded up and converted to the nearest month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a ratio of 3:1.
For example, if you have between 50 days and 3 months of EA Play already on your account when EA Play comes to Ultimate, you will have 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added to your account. If you have between 4 months and 6 months of EA Play already on your account when EA Play comes to Ultimate, you will have 2 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added to your account.
This would apply to the EA account attached to your Xbox account regardless of email address.
If your Xbox account with Game Pass Ultimate is not connected to your EA account that has EA Play then nothing will happen, they will continue to be separate except that your Xbox account will gain EA Play as well. If you link both accounts together then your current subscription will be merged.
