Disconnect EA Account or give me my money back.

The old ea account name is rileytheninja. My old Xbox gamertag, brassdeep, is permanently tied to an ea username I cannot access. You’re scamming people by selling them games with broken online functionality. I have spent over 3 weeks opening over 35 tickets in your support bot and have found it mechanically impossible to remove an account I cannot access from my console. You’re scamming people and you’ve lost any respect I had for you as a game distributor. I just wanted to play f1 online. You always “send a reset to the console” but this notoriously doesn’t work for anybody anywhere on earth. I have tried I have tried again. I will not try it a 36th time. everybody who interacts with this bot fully gives up your product. You are bleeding money by being cheap useless garbage. DO NOT TELL ME “Please use the 'Contact us' button at the bottom of this page to open a case”. It DOES NOT FUNCTION AS A SOLUTION. THIS IS A KNOWN BUG.

Again go to here and hit the 'Contact us' button

Type "Update EA Account information" into the text box

Enter your platform

When asked if the suggested article fixes your issue, hit 'No'

A page should open with the option for starting a chat with an advisor

This service is a scam for anyone who has an old email they can’t access. EA refuses to fix their account recovery service or help their customers and it’s another piece of the million slice pie that is this dying company.

This board is for EA Play discussions. Issues with EA Account access, account recovery, or console account linking are not something we can resolve here on the forums.

That said, account recovery and unlinking issues cannot be handled publicly on the forums. We do not have access to account tools, verification systems, purchase history, or live support case handling here. These issues need to go through EA Help so an advisor can review the account and provide the available recovery steps.

It is also important to note that players are responsible for maintaining access to their EA Account details, including the email address connected to the account. If access to that email or account information has been lost, support can offer recovery steps and attempt to verify ownership, but they cannot bypass account security or remove links without the required verification being completed.

I understand this is frustrating, but posting insults or scam accusations here will not change what the forums are able to do. If you want this reviewed, you will need to continue through EA Help and complete the recovery process provided by support.

I’m closing this here as it is in the wrong section and cannot be resolved on the forums.
