I unfortunately cannot verify account details over the forums. If it's saying you don't have an EA Play membership, it sounds like you might have a 2nd account by accident and the membership is located on that one in which our Support team will need to locate for you. That's what I suspect this is. Please keep me updated on the outcome.
When you have a moment, reach out to our Support team via Twitter or our Help site so they can verify they're properly linked so you can get onto that battlefield.

I'm having the same issue, and I can't find battlefield bad company 2 on Origin, and I only have a single Origin account, and both it and my steam account are linked (It doesn't show up on my Origin Library) and when I try to play it multiplayer it asks for a serial key, and steam doesn't give game keys for services like EA Play...

Same for me as the above, the game just doesn't appear on origin (the only place you can find the keys) even when I have it downloaded on my computer through steam. Is this possibly related to EA's oversight during the $1 month and people were spam selling keys to make money?

same issue with bad company 2 via ea play with gamepass
ea desktop is the only client that acknowledges the membership while it seems the only way to obtain a key is through origin
not surprised or happy to be looking at the hellscape of these forums
- 4 years ago@DatJenkem ive been following this particular thread for about a month now, some others for longer, and its ridiculous that EA puts so little effort in working with steam to solve this issue, because it so obviously is a problem of communication (or lack of) between Steam and EA... its been over a year and still no fix.

I have paid the EA Play membership to play Battlefield Bad Company 2 Online but the game asks for CD KEY and don't show up at Origin game library, everyone is saying THE SAME THING and EA Games don't pay attention to their customers I'm very upset about it, not buying any other EA game, cause i don't know if I'll be able to play it or not!

Hey,
So I got linked this article through EA support, because I've got the same problem with Battlefield Bad Company 2. I bought EA Play on Steam some time ago and wanted to play multiplayer, but found out I couldn't due to not having a CD key.I've checked if I can see a CD key through the Steam Library, but that option isn't available for Battlefield Bad Company 2. I've also checked and confirmed my Steam and Origin were properly linked. If you could help me out one way or another so I can play multiplayer with some friends, that'd be great.
Cheers.

We'll get you on the battlefield in short time. While our forum team can't update your account in order to fix this, our EA Advisor team can. Here is how to get in touch with them below for a quick conversation on getting the CD Key applied to your account.EA Help on Twitter

Agreed. I paid to play this game specifically because it is removed from the store otherwise and now it doesn’t even work. I’d like a refund immediately, and the people in this support are literally beyond useless, even pointing people to go to another support . Insane
