Hey,
So I got linked this article through EA support, because I've got the same problem with Battlefield Bad Company 2. I bought EA Play on Steam some time ago and wanted to play multiplayer, but found out I couldn't due to not having a CD key.
I've checked if I can see a CD key through the Steam Library, but that option isn't available for Battlefield Bad Company 2. I've also checked and confirmed my Steam and Origin were properly linked. If you could help me out one way or another so I can play multiplayer with some friends, that'd be great.
Cheers.
Hi, @Bierbarbaar
We'll get you on the battlefield in short time. While our forum team can't update your account in order to fix this, our EA Advisor team can. Here is how to get in touch with them below for a quick conversation on getting the CD Key applied to your account.

Agreed. I paid to play this game specifically because it is removed from the store otherwise and now it doesn’t even work. I’d like a refund immediately, and the people in this support are literally beyond useless, even pointing people to go to another support . Insane
