Can you give me some details on what's happening? I'm not seeing any notes on the account. Are you trying to unlink a gamertag from your EA account?

When someone cannot provide any details about their own account, it really limits our ability to help. Regardless, unlinking accounts will result in losing progress. That progress cannot be returned. If they want help gaining access to the account, they can contact an advisor here and go through the account recovery process.

I have full access to my Xbox Account, which I can (should) use to login on EA website to access this EA Account. The account password expired, which means that this method of Identity Validation is not valid anymore.
It doesnt make my Xbox invalid.
I should be able to use my Xbox Account to validate my credentials and access.
The issue is not being able to unlink this account from our Xbox accounts. With only this Xbox account I should be able to unlink the EA Account anytime, no questions asked - as I can do to any other account.
There are literally hundreds of cases of old EA accounts linked to Xbox Accounts and we cant remove it and use our own actual EA accounts. The issue is very clear and there is a clear answer.
I shouldn't need to validate my identity twice just to unlink it if to access and perform any other action a normal user only needs to validate his identity once (and can do using the Xbox Live credentials).Exactly, you shouldn’t have to make news emails or have a headache for EA to link to your system. My issue is that from the last time I played an EA game I changed my gamer tag on XBox one. These guys are saying that you can only have have one link to one system if you change the user tag your screwed. That and other things EA is doing is BS. I even erased the connected link and it still won’t so I’m airing it here it’s BS here.
