Xbox account linked to someone else

Yesterday I tried to link my Xbox account to my EA account to use my Xbox game pass for PC subscription to access EA play.

It automatically has created a new EA account with someone else's email date of birth and Xbox account linked meaning both my account and someone else's are linked to one EA account.

I can't unlink it because I can't verify the account as do not have access to their email account.

Support refused to help me and now I can't even start new chats to try to get help.

All I want is my Xbox account unlinked from some random account so I can link it to my own account and enjoy what I am paying for.

Anyone have any ideas?

    I had the same issue. Luckily if you have access to your xbox live account email and password there's still hope. Go to the https://help.ea.com/en/ and click LOG IN. You'll find underneath the password bar an Xbox login link. Then it should allow you to access the account. I fixed mine by doing this after support refused to help me as well. Pretty frustrating.

    Because then you can unlink your Xbox account from the EA account that you don't regularly access without needing login info for the EA account. Then go to your EA account and link your Xbox account.

    Ahh ok, that won't work in my situation. The EA account my Xbox account has been linked to is not verified which means to do anything it has to be verified first and to do that I need a code that it emails to the email address that is not mine.

    At least I assume the reason no un-link button shows up is because the account is not verified.

    Thank you for the suggestion though.
