Try going through the steps outlined in our help article:
And let us know if you continue having issues linking your Xbox to a new EA Account.

I apologize if I sound rude, because I truly do not mean to come off that way, but, the EA support help line, when I called them (before they eventually instructed me to post here), gave me that exact link 7 different times. it does not resolve the issue.
my EA account is a gmail email, myxbox is a hotmail email. when I sign in with the xbox account, as per that link, it wants to create a BRAND NEW ea account with the hotmail email. I just want to connect my EA account, that has a Gmail email, with Xbox account that has a Hotmail email

Hi @Switchblade-582,
Thanks for the update, no need to worry about sounds rude, wanted to see if we had already explored that link. Having different emails on your Xbox and EA accounts won't matter since there are different systems/accounts.
It's weird that it's wanting you to create a new account to link versus linking an existing one. To check have you cleared the cache/cookies of the browser you're using, or tried using a f2p game like apex on your console to see if you see the option to link an existing account?
Thanks!

I have tried clearing the cache and cookies yeah, and unfortunately I only have a PC, so I cant really try that option (otherwise I absolutely would)
