Xbox connected to wrong EA account

Hi,

When I was 17, I made an EA account to play The Sims 3 on PC. It sat dormant for a while. I've since got a gaming PC and now pay for PC Game Pass which includes EA Play. At some point, I made a new EA Account which I have been using for The Sims 4 and Battlefront II. However, my Xbox is linked to my old EA account and I'd like to use EA Play on my newest account which also has progress on Battlefront II that I really don't want to lose.

I also can't unlink my accounts myself because for some reason the verification code won't send to my email. So I can't verify that it's me trying to unlink my accounts so that I can relink them to the one I'm now using.

If there is anyway of merging my accounts and keeping my progress or just unlinking it and linking my Xbox account to my primary EA account to use EA play please let me know.
