Career Mode - Scouted Players Potential

Quite liked my first brief play of FC 27 career mode last night, but one issue I've found.

On FC 26 player potential when you search/scout a player was clearly shown.

But on FC 27 if I scout a player and they turn out to have OVR of 72 for example, their potential is also shown as 72 - even if they have a description of 'exciting prospect' or 'showing great potential'.

Is this a mistake? Or is this how it's meant to be? It makes scouting and searching for players confusing when the only indicator I have is their current ability. Hopefully this can be sorted.
