After November F1 23 update: FFB disappears on CSL DD when tabbing out

I have updated all my Fanatec equipment and the bug still occurs. I have heard from multiple people with CSL DD in league racing that have the exact same issue, also after updating their base.

Honestly, for understanding, I'd like people to explain the reasons they ALT-TAB. AFAIU, there isn't really a reason? Get your overlays working or get a second display would be my suggestion (Older monitors can be had for free or very little outlay. Most cards / Laptop IGPs worth their salt with have multiple outputs.)

Thanks for pointing this out: my wording wasn't correct. I use windowed full screen mode and whenever I click on anything else outside of the game this issue occurs. I normally just move my mouse to my second screen. Discord, OBS.. etc. Should just work.

I tried fullscreen mode and windowed, that didn't change anything when I clicked on something else. Still lost FFB. Restarting, new controller profile, re-enambling profiles, verifying game files... all did nothing.

Losing Window focus is detrimental in this game. Personally, I use Fullscreen with overlays and don't really mouse when I'm playing.

Similar issues exist with other wheelbases (although purportedly the issue was addressed with Thrustmaster wheels, still not 100% sure of Logitech) and snooze / rest on consoles. Power modes (fast shutdown) are an issue on Windows. My advice is to disable this setting (with NVMe and SATA SSDs there is no real benefit) and to periodically shut the machine down (or at least restart for updates, as it is a proper shutdown).

Fanatec driver 453 seems to have gone live, so that's new for me (452 was short lived). I'll see what occurs, but I have the CSL-E and not DD. There may be firmware, but I think 452 was carrying everything expected in 453 anyway).

Will update you when I've tried it (I don't use a second display anymore as I find the overlays work for what I require - Afterburner, Discord and Steam).
