@ShardzWeaponYes cause Ai teams upgrade their cars and exceed the pace of real world cars. Not to mention Ai on a good lap brake and accelerate with near perfect timing.
They are not humans. The Ai can only follow their coding. Be aware there is no Ai on a racing game that comes close to this games AI. It’s a case of learning and understanding how they race and adapt to it.
It’s always been a thing come season 3 the Ai seem overpowered. But you also have to take into account they also upgrade their 2nd driver facilities which effect all Ai drivers Topping out at 100. So it’s possible most or all Ai drivers pace is 100. (This is something I and the rest off the community hate)
If you find them to fast reduce Ai difficulty. No shame in it

Most important part of your reply, IMO.
Nobody knows what AI difficulty you play with, and nobody needs to know. Set them according to the challenge you want for yourself, and whatever that number is, you're correct.

I have reduced AI difficulty as it is not possible for me to compete even for points anymore even though I’m the best car on the grid.
this might be something codemasters need to address as players shouldn’t have to keep adjusting their difficulty. If anything you should be needing to put it higher as your car and r&d progress. Not reduce.

@ShardzWeaponThe Ai team also increase R&D aswell as Ai drivers get better also.
It actually makes more sense for the game to get harder as we progress. Especially as there is a large chunk of players that already play the Ai on 110. Makes no sense for it to get easier as by season 3 it will be to easy for them.
It’s not perfect. Far from it but with the career lasting ten seasons it’s a way off keeping it interesting
