Is it just me or did nothing change with the AI? Before the patch with 110 AI in quali I was easily getting in q3 with AlphaTauri, and in the race i was the slowest car on track. After the patch i am still easily getting in q3 in Alpha and still the slowest car in the race. The AI have insane straight line speed and they pass me like I'm not even there. It's weird beacuse usually im not even running high wings and they still fly past me. Is it the same for everyone else or do I just have * race pace?

@90nitk78q2tuSame for me. But I know I set up my car for race as I do 50%-100% distance so run more stable setups. So my race pace is faster than my qualifying pace Whereas I believe it’s irrelevant what setup the ai run. They go as fast as the coding tells it to.

I haven't changed anything with my driving style or setups. Quite maddening.

It's still far too easy in quali. How am i supposed to stimulate an AlphaTauri career if I'm in the top 7 every time? they really need to fix this.

The patch increased AI speed around 3/4 tenths per track as average at 110. In some track they are stronger in comparison to the player IMHO (e.g. Monza they should be able to go under the 1:18 in Q) but the most are not.

One suggestion: leave Verstappen to the AI, he increases AI competitiveness of further +1/+2

About Q and R pace comparison I didn’t tested myself yet but it was the same in F1 22, around 2/3 click of difference over 100 AI. If I well remember it was more balanced in F1 2021/2020…

On F1 22 the AI were pretty balanced. But it just doesn't work in this game. The main problem is that they are way too slow in quali. On 110 and I get into Q3 in AlphaTauri and pole by over a second on Monaco in a Haas, and I'm not even that good at the game, around 1 second off the E-sports guys in time trial.

This is so weird to me. I find, as I did in last year's game, that the AI are super mega OP speed demons in qualy but they turn into sunday afternoon, driving miss daisy drivers in the race.
It's does my head in. And people having the opposite problem confuses me.

In theory, I also work exclusively on race setup (and at most I adjust front wing and geometries) but perhaps it just depends on the characteristics of each one of us 🙂

Yes the AI is completely unbalanced + I would like to know in My Team 1st season, I take all the time in the world to set and reset AI strength so I am only 2 tenths max faster or slower than my team mate no matter who that may be.
So the race begins all is well we finish 18th and 19th no more than 4 sec apart this is good. (Bahrain of course)
So we get to Australia why the hell am I (3.5 sec) slower than my Team mate no matter what setup I use and no boys it is not me it is the track they have not I dont how they do it but the tracks are not comparable the cars times. I mean I should not be 3.5sec slower.
To get me to within .2sec of my team mate I have to have 1.08 grip which is rediculous why have they got the tracks like this and Baku as well that is even more up the put.
I cant see why we cant be .2 sec of our Team mate on any track and before you say it is me, boys I have ove 9000 hrs since 2012 game, yes I am pathetic but there you go I love F1.
I am positive they have not evened up the tracks yes i know they have different surfaces and lay outs but this shoul not effect the performance between you and your team mate so what is it ?
I dont want to keep changing AI level or use grip hack I want to see where I end up when all things are equal through out the Season which they are not now.
