Single PlayerSteps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Doing a career mode with AlphaTauri and seeing the suit.What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing, only visual.What do you expect to see? It is definitely an oversight during the Ricciardo update...you can see from the suit decal files. The locations of multiple decals were moved to accommodate Ricciardo's name and number but the generic player suit clearly wasn't given the new decal location mapping.

Check if booting in Safe Mode and choosing Option 5, Rebuild Database has any effect on this.
