Black Screen on Startup, can hear audio

Summarize your bug Black screen after launching game, can hear audio
What is your 16 digit Report Code? N/A
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Xfinity
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Black screen on startup
What happens when the bug occurs? Black screen when starting, can hear audio and button inputs advance game to main menu (I assume, can't see anything)
What do you expect to see? The game

Black screen when starting game, can hear audio and game accepts inputs-it sounds like it advances to the main screen. 

All drivers up to date, have deleted and reinstalled game, restarted pc multiple times.

    Finally got it working! I don't know what happened with the resolution but I booted up a different game, minimized full screen then launched f1 23 and it opened properly in a very small windowed mode. From there, I was able to go into settings and properly configure the display. Weird problem but all good now

    Finally got it working! I don't know what happened with the resolution but I booted up a different game, minimized full screen then launched f1 23 and it opened properly in a very small windowed mode. From there, I was able to go into settings and properly configure the display. Weird problem but all good now

    Sounds like an overlay issue. You can set an option to play music if the game is not in focus, or disable it to hear when the game hasn't.

    ALT-TAB may work if you get it again, but if you do, post which overlays are running.

    Hi how did you fix it? I have this problem on F1 21, F1 22 and F1 23 since yesterday evening and I don't know why. It worked perfectly fine two days ago. Everything is on the latest version for the graffic card and the processors so I don't know what's wrong

    @Sorn76 For me, something happened in Steam where it changed my resolution to one not compatible with my monitor. I was able to open a different game, change to the proper resolution in THAT game, hit the windows key to get to my home screen then launch F1. It came up in a window instead of full screen and I was able to go into settings and change to the proper resolution. No issues since then.
