Car automatically braking on random spots on the track

Summarize your bug While I was racing at Jeddah in my driver career at Alfa Romeo (Season 1), after a few laps the map turned red as if I invalidated a lap in time trials, and on certain spots on the track, the car just brakes randomly without me being able to control it. Restarting the race did not help.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know for certain. However, I have a theory that I wasn't yet able to test out: Causing a crash that would usually bring out the red flag, but using the replay and flashback function before the red flag is shown. That way, the car might be forced to slow down during some parts of the lap, as if the race was stopped, but not during other parts.
What happens when the bug occurs? In turns 1-2 and 7-8, the car slams on the brakes for a brief period, either losing massive amounts of time compared to the Bots (who seemingly aren't affected by this bug), or losing control of the car and going off-track.
What do you expect to see? A reason as to why this happens so that I won't run into this problem again, either by not doing whatever causes this bug, or resolving the problem all along.
