Clutch failing to release

Summarize your bug Clutch is not activating in any session, tried both singleplayer GP mode and online mode. This means I cannot drive away at the start of the race, nor drive away from my pit lane. This causes me to not be able to play in any feature of the game except for time trial.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? go into grand prix mode, try to press the clutch of the wheel, nothing will happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? it shows "release clutch" even when the clutch is not being pressed. When I press or release my clutch pedal, nothing happens.
What do you expect to see? I expect my car to drive away and the race to start
The setup I am using consists of a Logitech G923 and thrustmaster clubsport v3 pedals.
