Cross Play two-player career can no longer be continued

Hello,

My brother (PC) and I (PS5) have been playing F1 22 together since crossplay was introduced.

We have been playing F1 2023 in career mode since August.
We are currently in the 3rd season between Austria and England.

What is the problem?

We were in the normal menu when my menu froze 2 days before England but the game sent my brother to England in the race weekend menu we unfortunately only noticed it when it was too late.

When it didn't continue I restarted my game in the hope of landing in England Race Weekend.

But when we both try to start the career together, both games get stuck in the loading screen with "Please wait".

As soon as one of us leaves the game, my brother ends up alone in the England race weekend. It's even better for me, I get to the normal menu with the next race in France, so he wants to skip England and we can't join each other after that either.

I as the host have tried to solve the problem by "Replace player" with another console player but that doesn't work and he just ends up in England!

I'm sad that we can forget the championship after almost 60 races. In F1 2022 we still have 6 seasons to go without major problems.

Has anyone ever had such a problem or maybe even the solution?
