@mce076 The game is officially dead. The support the devs gave it was the worst ever. Maybe F1 24 is going to be a better product... but I wouldn't count on it. Not gonna buy it day 1, that's for sure. Not unless they give a MASSIVE overhaul to MyTeam.

no customisation items in podium pass.. againno fixes at all for literally anything??well done team!

2 seasons in a row with no customization items. Wow. Also, the pitcoins rewards have been reduced.Killing off the game this early is not a good sign. I have no hope left for this game or the devs.

This is really embarrassing. Stopping the support for this game in EARLY DECEMBER. In fact, you could argue they already did in early November as we had the last proper patch. NEVER have they ever thrown a game away THIS EARLY. 4 months of patches and THAT'S IT? Ranked mode has not received any attention at all since release, no more bug fixes since October. League mode still in utter shambles, the promised changes are still not there. Podium pass without customisation items for the second straight season, less pitcoins as well. Embarrassing.

If you're lucky. If you're not, game just retires you with made-up component failure which you won't see on Engine screen after race.

@P4st3l1ak First half off every season. Qualify last and finish last or not at all. Game won’t need to force the result. Then second half season you should be free off the worst in game cheat mechanics. Don’t dare have a perfectly consistent lap after lap race. Despite that’s how real F1 races are won. But not in this game.

I may not have consistent laps or lap times, I always tinker with race line and test where are the limits. But being punished for being consistent, that's just wrong game logic.

@P4st3l1ak Yesterday racing at Jeddah. Qualified 9th. When I came in for my stop. I was in 3rd and after all Ai had pitted I was back in 3rd right behind Max and Charles. After a couple off laps they Max attempted an overtake into the last corner: Both off them lost speed exiting onto home straight. So I saw my chance and double bubble overtake. Couple off laps later I’ve got a 2 second gap. Then it happens. Both off them along with Lewis, Sergio and Carlos who I was 5 seconds infront off. We’re all hitting 220mph. Where they were only reaching 205mph with DRS early on in race. Which was what I was also getting. But all I could get was 195mph using all my ERS: So they are swarming me. I get the hump and decide to ram them. I lose my front wing and get hit hard by Max, Perez and Lewis then hits Max hard. Not so much as a scratch on any off their cars. So closed and deleted game. Absolute joke

Well, I only played about 160 hours but I will not waste more on this game. I am seriously considering not to buy the next one.

I started this week with F1 23 because it's in Game Pass and I just raced some time trial events to get used to the car and the circuits and so far it's not so bad.
I'm really impressed by the performance of the game in VR. There are some settings that I had trouble with, so I needed some time to bring up the needed OSM in VR to the virtual screen. Like the message "lap invalidated" because in VR everything is hidden by default - WHY ??
But after reading this thread I'm not sure if I should start a career just to get cheated from the game and the bugs.
It seems that EA after buying Codemasters have dropped every intention to produce a high quality racing game. It's the same wit EA WRC it's the worst WRC game in years.

1) yes, career and my team modes are in a dire state, but for a newcomer most things will have a freshness to it that maaaay make it quite enjoyable for 6-12h, perhaps even more. No reason not to give it a try, just go in knowing what to expect.

2) The franchise has been on this course significantly before the acquisition by EA. It is no fluke that the bidding came down to Take Two and EA, the franchise was already presenting itself as a "good" contender for microtransactions and bloated player engagement. It's very likely we'd end up with F1 World and Supercars even if Codies had remained independent.

@Peter_Mathen Please bear in mind my frustrations and opinions come from many years and thousands of hours playing codemasters F1 games. As Mario Big Guns 💪 says as you’re fresh to these games there is fun to be had. To be fair I only notice because I play career modes every which way over and over. So I know exactly what I should see before it happens. But know I’ll get what i shouldn’t see.

You probably won’t even notice things that get me frustrated. Which the short of it is. Features that worked perfectly well in previous years games. Don’t work in current game
