I have an identical problem - it always crashes during these specific events and not just "randomly" during races.

I also have an identical wheel setup to yours.  Simucube wheel base and a Moza FSR using the universal hub.

I've tried many things to solve this, none of which have been successful.  If you ever figure out a solve I'd love to hear what you did.
