Summarize your bug F1 23 game repeatedly glitches on offline local multiplayer splitscreen. Have tried deleting and reinstalling the game and changing settings but this has not resolved the issue.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing local multiplayer splitscreen on F1 23 game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game slows down considerably and both players are unable to control the car they are driving. This generally happens about 10-15 seconds into a race and continues for the rest of the race.
What do you expect to see? The game should work as normal as it has done for all the previous versions of F1 game. This game mode is offline so there is no reason why it should repeatedly glitch.
I attempted to take a video of the issue but I was informed the video type was not supported.
