F1 24 - AI wings setup more similar to the player

Hi CM, this is a big point in offline racing which I'm used to play: if AI has similar wings setup it means similar speed and close racing with the player. This year only in few track I've raced so ...

@Nuvolarix I’m thinking this years game the Ai controlled cars setup’s are irrelevant. As latter half off race. Game overrides Ai control and puts their cars on rails and disables damage. They then all go at set speed (Added to the code) regardless of what their setup.

Rumour has it. It’s due to all various game modes(F1 world) being co dependent and using same in game Ai. Basically Ai in some races was getting mixed messages. One second it’s following regular Ai difficulty then the next F1 World tech level which I’m guessing having seen various videos relating to training racing Ai. It’s actually quite funny seeing Ai all off sudden loses its 💩. That similar was happening. Rumour also has it fixing it is very complex and time consuming to the point. Not to fix it at all and just use the old on rails method back before Ai didn’t know how to race

Ouch I wasn’t aware, thank you for explanation, I hope they will fix then.

My experience is not that bad actually, I have done 15-16 races (100%) so far, this year with AI110 and I find it quite consistent, I mean, in whole stints their pace is very similar to mine, except for the fact that in the most of the tracks (like described in the first post) I’m slightly faster in low-speed corners and bit slower in the straights, as if their setup (or coded speed) was not in line with the player.

Nevertheless I had 3-4 of the best races ever this year, meaning close fight and so much fun

    @Nuvolarix I’m guessing but, if you still do GP instead of Careers. I you may not even encounter any problems. When I was trying to find the reasons to my issues. I did a couple of GP races and I did find gameplay, was working as it should. It may be that because GP mode is grouped with F1 world whereas career isn’t. My gut is F1 world being the big selling point Codies need it to be working properly. So everything shared between different modes namely the Ai is F1 world so it’s not optimally setup for careers anymore. I don’t get direct answers and they never confirm or deny. But on this issue I was told yes they have recreated some things I’ve found but fixing it will cause issues in other areas off game: which is I’m guessing F1 is world

      So maybe that's the reason, I forgot to mention I'm (always) playing GP mode which seems to work fine except about AI max speed as written before. What a pity about Career 😞
