This issue only happens to F1 games. Example: Jedi Survivor had no issues.

  • Update UEFI to N4. Load defaults and save.

You should be able to set XMP and Secure Boot. fTPM should be enabled. HVCI can be enabled (in Windows, it will be enabled automatically on a clean install, switch it on in Device Security in Windows Defender).

Your CPU and GPU do not support SAM

Download v5 chipset driver you already have the latest 23.5.2 GPU driver. Download DDU then enable the safe mode switch.

Uninstall any v2, v3 or v4 driver from Add/Remove Programs.

    Disconnect internet. Restart.

Install v5 chipset driver then reinstall 23.5.2 Adrenaline, rebooting as prompted.

    Connect internet.

Install Realtek UAD driver (this may actually uninstall your existing driver, but allow it and restart. It will continue to install.

    Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml from your %SystemDrive%\Documents\My Games\F1 23\hardware_settings

Verify Steam files and launch the game. Good luck!

Post a dxdiag with the exact mainboard make and model, please. The older thread has a MSI board that could be one of two or three.

    Plus, it's a bit necro.

    B450M PRO-VDH MAX?

Whilst you're at it, which RX590 is it?

Do you run Afterburner for temps and FPS?

Actually it is B350M BAZOOKA sorry about that. I check the FPS and temps via the AMD Adrenalin software, normal temps and steady 63 FPS average. It dips a bit during night races but it looks like that is a known issue for now.

I ask because some of the MSI cards are pretty bad. I have had XFX cards before and the cooling is pretty good. However, as you say temps look good from Afterburner.

Fairly convinced your issues are from the older AGESA and chipset drivers, possibly the lack of a properly installed Realtek Audio (R) driver, because the version is not reported in the dxdiag.

WER is fairly non-commital or no shade because it's full of errors in unrelated programs!
