F1 World Goals permanently disabled

This has never been a problem for me, that is until the recent patch from Monday. I'm on the PS4 and was working thru the goals, been playing since having the 3 days early access. Now its locked, even though I've gone ahead and done 5 more races to hope the minimum requirement would reopen the goals section. But, it remains permanently red out!!!

Since patch 1.08 I have the same problem on the Xbox Series X.

This has just happened for me on Xbox One S. is there a fix coming as this is the only thing keeping me interested in powering through the series.

Xbox Series X, just happened to me this past week.  I have been playing since launch and this is the 1st time I have experienced this.

THIS is the reason I would usually wait till the game dropped on Game Pass.  May be time to implement that strategy for future F1 games.

I also have the problem since today. 🙁

Absolute BS with this issue.

This just started for me last night. Sucks to see that this has been going on so long with no solution. 

Maybe we can help speed this along. Since the bug appears to be related to player data, I'm wondering if there are conditions under which Goals would ever legitimately be locked. We already know it's not (immediately, at least) the "win 100 races" achievement. We also know it's not tech level, since some are over 1000 and some are well under.

What else is left? What would trigger the Goals screen to lock?

Of note: I have literally not done anything else in F1 23 except for F1 World. No career mode, no Braking Point, etc.

I don't know if it's related or if it's just a coincidence, but it seems to me that for me the problem appeared when I started an F1 World race and once on the grid before the start I left the game to the game menu. By doing this it seems to me that this is where it blocked the goals and at the same time by doing this I lost the FFB on my good old logitech G27

I'm not exactly sure when mine locked, but it may have been after leaving part 2 of a Texas Mastery series so I could put in more practice laps in Time Trial. Around the same time I did the License A Bonus race (didn't leave) and Pirelli Hot Laps.

I don't see how hardware could possibly be related, but I switched from controller to a Fanatec DD / pedals / yoke around this time as well.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. A fix for F1 World Goals should not take months to happen. If, for some unbelievable reason, the fix was more complex than any of us know, the developers should have communicated this to us weeks ago. Hell, I can't even see some of the rewards on the season pass! If EA thinks they're getting more of my money this year and in upcoming years, they're sorely mistaken because it seems like this is amateur hour right now. 

It's been over a month this has been "investigated", and yet with the new season we are stuck with the same issue, and now even if you managed to get your car to level 1000, it's stuck there as there is no way to increase it. If there is no way to fix it, at least tell you could tell us not to expect to have access to it for a while, or give players an alternative to increase the car levels.

hello fellow locked-out's,

wanted to bring to your and hopefully the devs attention (and would happily receive some thoughts and feedback on this matter) that aside from the inconvenience (to put it mildly) to have no access to the goals section for nearly 2 months now:

there is the question as to whats with all the missed rewards from long- and short-term rewards?

I mean they pile up quite a bit after such a long period of time, dont they?

are we supposed to simply live with that? and/or do it all over?

and what if the upcoming fix - whenever we will live to see it - consisted of a complete reset of all long-term goals?

are we (if it really turned out that way) to do 250 races more? and win 50 more? (if my estimates in that regard are halfway correct i must be quite close to or even beyond of both of these goals mainly doing ranked multiplayer - other fellow ranked-drivers will know what that means for my physical and mental health :o)  )

like I said: happy to hear what you folks think. even more so if the officials take an interest in this topic. wouldnt be surprised if thats part of the problem why fixing the locked goals takes so long.

 I am still having the same issues and again lost my progress within the game in relation to ranked multiplayer. I have reduced from 2nd place right down to 59th place and all of points are now gone and I had 467 points and now it shows 0 even though I’ve not played for a couple of days.

I have an unread email saying I had zero points last week, what on Earth is going on ? 

also goals are still locked out and I’ve raced 4 times today with zero progression.

so can’t achieve gold can’t a achieve elite which now makes platnum trophy 100% impossible to reach.

what a stupid idea to have these trophies in the first place, games are meant to be fun NOT impossible.

please sort it out delete these achievements as the game is broken for lord know ls how many people.
