FPS drops consistently on NIGHT RACES after patch V1.07

It's been broken since they said they fixed it in the first patch.

The Lighting quality setting is still bugged on night races and besides being the factor behind a major drop of FPS in night races, the poor VFX and glitchy graphics that appear in night races are also aggravated by this setting, the higher it is, the worse it gets.

Don't really know what we could do to get this issue re-opened since they already considered it fixed.

Since the last patch, I also have a lot of FPS drops, but not only in the night races. I have it at every race. Sometimes game runs at 80FPS, to drop down to 15 when I am getting closer to the braking zone, to drop down to 5 when I accelerate, and then go back to 80 when I'm on the straight (monaco). The funny thing is, that in the benchmark mode, or when I use instant replay, game runs at stable 80FPS...

I use an I79700+1660Super+game installed on HDD - everything in on ULTRA+ resolution 1080p (V Sync ON - @60). In the night races i have fps drop even more that after patch V1.05. After patch V1.05 i was use to have 56-57 fps from time to time but after V1.07 the lagging and fps drops frequent to 50-52 on Singapore (for example). It's worst now. The only fix is to change the Lighting quality from ULTRA to HIGH. I use ULTRA because the game is shiny and brilliant on these settings - In f1 22, 2021 or f1 2020 I don`t have this problems and all 3 games looks magnificent.

The recommended System Requirements is I5-9600K + 1660TI (+5% better than 1660 Super).
Maybe i should upgrade my graphics card to RTX 3(4)060 - I guess. This will resolve all my problems.

I play all circuits with 120 constant fps but during night races, i drop to 80-85 fps....

Ultra is a mess if RT is enabled. I'm thinking that your cards are somehow being misdetected as RT capable when 10/16 series is not. I play in 1440p and like a framerate over 100. I cap at my display sync of 144 (Freesync). Enabling RT I get stuttering and much lower frames, this was a thing for a while although I'm AMD and have gone RX580 (1080)/5700XT (1440)/5800 (1440).

I've had High settings enabled because only in Ultra is RT enabled. I can run Ultra with all RT options off, but I guess they are greyed out for you?

Post a pic of your graphics settings, you can see what I enabled in my video. I'll upload my hardware_settings_config.xml so you can compare.

If you edit your file if the settings are wrong and make the file read-only in Windows, that may be a workaround?
