Invalidated lap message missing in vr

This is really frustrating. I'll do a whole Time Trial or practice session thinking my laps are all good only to realize they've all been invalidated. There must be a way to know when a lap time is invalidated as I often have no idea which part of the lap I'm over the white lines so end up having to drive super conservatively everywhere...
