Is formula 2 A.I. less developed?

Thank you so much, I'm so relieved, haha.

It's really weird f2, one time I played on high difficulty, entire track geen. All drivers faster than me. And everyone in a neat train driving slowly behind me. For many many many laps. Happens very often. Nearing my back and slowing down. Even if they have drs and better tires and they qualified 2 seconds better than met. Yet they stay behind me. Even with massively good overtaking opportunity and even I never ever defend. Not even a tiny little bit. I also dont brake late. They just stay behind me. Makes no sense. When I force them to overtake, by getting off racing line and braking, so I end up. 0.100 seconds behind the driver. In one lap they are already 2 seconds clear of me even if I drive at my best. And yet they stay 15+ sometimes 20+ laps behind me. basically untill I pit and then they shoot off like a rocket all the way to the dark side of the moon. 

Im so relieved to hear that f1 has better A.I.

Also funny:

"I'm doing a soaking wet fully green track race, my car fully green even tires are green.. Suddenly engineer says: sorry it happens to the best of us, here look at the mfd for new strategy." 

I'm like... What happened to me? Nothing happened, I'm completely fine...?? Huh? 

I look, while my visor is soaking wett at lap 20. And I drift around the corner in full wetts with cars in front and back all got wetts and the mfd shows new strategy lap 20, pit now for softs... softs... 

I said to my engineer: I don't need softs. I need rowing pedals.
