Lost access to DLC items

I lost access to " F1® 23 Champions Edition + Limited Time Bonus" due to an EA error. Please Help!

    Guys I’m really sorry but you have to go through EA support for issues like this:  It’s not something the EA Community team can help with.  

    The double payment issue has been resolved and those charged have now been automatically refunded.    

    Im completely guessing.  But contacting support may have created a situation where they cancelled one order and refunded you:  Then as it would be recorded you were charged twice. When the automatic refunds went out  it cancelled and refunded your remaining order.   But I’m completely guessing.  But check to see whether you’ve received 2 refunds.   If you have it’ll probably means you will have to buy it again and won’t be able to get the limited early preorder content 😔

  • Back on 05/04/23, I pre-ordered Qty1 of the F1® 23 Champions Edition + Limited Time Bonus.

    On 06/06/23 the payment went through for the pre-order, a minute later I got another email saying the payment went through. I was charged for Qty 2 of the game. I checked my PayPal account and there they were.

    I contacted EA Help straight away to get this fixed, the first Rep I had didn't really help so I was transferred to another Rep, who help at the time. The Rep was able to refund Qty1 of the game.

    07/06/23 I woke up to an email saying that my original pre-order was cancelled, again straight to EA help to help with the issue. the first Rep wasn't much help as the tools they have, don't show what I can see on my transaction history, back and forth we go with order numbers. The Rep was so convived that I still had a copy of the game linked to my account, but I don't know due to an error that some people got charged for Qty 2 of the game, not knowing that I already got help the day before.

    Now I don't own the F1® 23 Champions Edition + Limited Time Bonus becue one, an error occurred on EA's end and two, The edition was removed from stores on the 31st of May

    Can someone please help me get my copy back?

  • @Rypt_Edge I've had the same sort of problem (potentially). Yesterday, in the EA App I had a copy of F1 23 Champions Edition and the Limited Time Bonus.

    This morning, an email arrives in my inbox to say my order has been refunded. I look at the EA App, but I still have the pre-order on there, but it seems to be a mix between the Champions Edition and Standard Edition. The game 'cover' is of Leclerc, Hamilton, and Norris, but I have the add-ons that come with Champions Edition (F1® Champion Bumper Pack, Racing and Icons Pack). But no Time-limited Las Vegas Content Pack mentioned in the add-ons section.

    Luckily, I've still got my order, I've just been refunded 1 of the 2 orders that were made accidentally. But there does seem to be a mix-up of when the game was ordered as I don't seem to see the time-limited content.

    Hopefully you're able to get a copy back, I'm sure you will since you've got confirmation of your purchase and there was an error with some transactions on EA's side.

    @ScarDuck14 Thank you for the response, I have received two refunds from that order 😪  I've gone through about 4 EA Help Reps and the last Rep pretty much said, yes someone on our end stuffed up, nothing we can do to help, try the forms. 

    Like I'm happy to purchase the game again, 

    but surely someone from Codies or EA can just generate a key so I can get my limited early content back.

    @Rypt_Edge That’s weird. I don’t feel my Normal smug self when I guess right🙄.

    I’m genuinely Sorry I was right.

    I will ask. But I’m very doubtful the community team can do anything. Simply because I’m not sure there will be a separate key just for the limited time preorder bonus.

    @Rypt_Edge No. I’ve asked for you. Whether you’ll get a reply 🤷🏻‍♂️. The CMs will help if they can but Community team isn’t customer services/support. So don’t have the authority to say yes or no. Which is unfortunate.
  • @Rypt_Edge I contacted EA Help, and they got my case sorted. Hopefully, and surely, they will since it seems to be a system error. Hope you get it solved and potentially see you on the track!
