I have a Pro Wheel on PS5 and I accidentally stumbled across this method to have the full 11nm of force feedback for F1 23 . I was surprised when I could barely turn the wheel so assumed EA and Logitech had fixed the issue. However, my FFB was low again the next time I played and I remembered what I did the last time I booted up the game.
I have my Pro Wheel defaulted to PS5 for the Platform setting. Not necessary, but one less button press after turning on the wheel.
With the PS5 completely powered off (I haven’t tried from standby), power on the Pro Wheel, and you should get the ‘CONNECT USB CABLE’ message on the OLED display. Immediately power on the PS5 either using the controller or power button on the PS5. As the PS5 is powering up, start spamming the PS button on the wheel (probably not necessary to spam it but I haven’t tried determining when exactly is the best time to press it). If you started the PS5 using the controller, you will first have to select your profile using the controller and then it should immediately pop up again for you to select with the wheel. If you started the PS5 with the power button, you will be able to select the profile immediately using the ‘X’ button on the wheel. Start the game.
That’s it, and works for me every time. Hopefully others will have success.

This 100% works and allows for 11nm on ps5 on f1 23 (never thought id be saying that). Tried and tested so use this bug for the meanwhile whilst EA dilly dally about with pencils up there .....
- 2 years ago@kieransloth I tried that and it works for me, too, however I seem to lose Trueforce when I do that. Is it the same for you?

I’ve done that thing starting up wheel. It does give u full ffb but u really not getting an accurate feel. When u do that u basically tricking ur ps5. U lose all the tru force when u do it. But really why hasn’t ea fixed it yet. Why are we doing stupid things to trick wheel or ps5. These things might end up damaging ur wheel in long run so is it worth it. No. It’s time for ea to step up and fix it. All other game makers have no issues. So why is it only ea. they are incapable and making excuses. I bet they don’t ever fix. That’s the way it looks like it’s going. They do not have the rite people working for them. They need to higher better educated people. Last ea game I’m buying. I’ve given up on ea.

Can confirm the TrueForce doesn't work for me with the full FFB trick. Adjusting TF Audio on the wheel doesn't change anything, whereas it does when starting the wheel after the PS5. If I have to choose between the two, I'm taking the increased force feedback. It feels fine to me and I find it much easier to catch a slide. I also don't know how that could possibly damage the wheel. Adjusting the FFB strength on the wheel and in-game functions the same as it does with F1 22.
My assumption is that the implementation of TrueForce in F1 23 is somehow breaking the FFB.

They’re never going to fix bro. Throw the game out it’s garbage. I already stopped playing. I race one race a week I a league just to keep my standings. If u haven’t realized after two months and no fix that it’s never getting a fix then ur in for a long ride. EA doesn’t even look at our complaints. They don’t have the proper people with the knowledge to fix. So just get rid of game and find a new racing game to get into or u will be waiting till the next one
