@SteveJackson I'm using Aux, and yes I'm also on PC, on Steam - did also test with Bluetooth but nothing changed.
Plus there's a website that tells you to get an older version of DirectX, which isn't a too bad idea but, it corrupts your savefiles. So be careful when trying to fix this. Your level stays, but you lose the Career.

Thanks for the reply. DirectX should be version 12 (any, not specific so Windows 10 or Windows 11) and there is no advice on Windows other than 21H1 or higher.
Windows 10 users with automatic updates set should be forced to 22H2.
Windows 11 users could be on 21H2 or 22H2 as it's not mandatory to update yet.
I can see it varies given people's dxdiag but to my knowledge hasn't affected anyone's ability to play given updates and drivers.
Also post dxdiag then please, ensure you have mainboard make and model in dxdiag or post it with the .txt file
