Poor force feedback on logitech g923 xbox series x

I'm experiencing the same on Xbox One. Whilst I'm delighted the rev lights and extra wheel buttons finally work natively on the game, the feedback doesn't feel quite right.

I assumed that it could be tied into the new handling model maybe - less understory cars may mean a light feeling turn in? But the more I play, the more the feedback feels weak and washed-out even on 150% feedback setting.
