Race starts, no gradual acceleration, immediately full throttle, car spins out

Summarize your bug At start of race, when I initiate throttle in 1st gear, the car is immediately at full throttle. There is no gradual acceleration. If I try to upshift it is already at full throttle. There is no gradual acceleration. Car just ends up spinning out of control. Lifting off the throttle does not prevent this.

IT IS EITHER FULL THROTTLE OR NO THROTTLE

Occurs primarily in F! World single play races etc.

  • I also have mostly the same issue with the acceleration in F1 23 but on PS5. In very specific corners my acceleration input in the game is not working despite me having my leg fully pushed on the throttle. I also tried using my controller and I've got the same issue.

@Gradinaru18 Maybe I’ve not gone completely mental. On an occasion when I had a Ai car up my backside it was as though I was the one in its dirty air. Even watched a couple off replays and I could see my car twice on occasion whenever they got within half a car length of me, But if I go behind them they were fine and id get caught in their dirty air and lose masses off front downforce. From tv pod I was sure my Nose was floating.

However in my My team on PS5 I’ve had a issue since game launched where damage to me or Ai cars wasn’t working and I’ve only just found a workaround so, for me it could just be because I’m not used to how car evolves through race
  • If by chance you have a TMX wheel, your Telemetry may be reversed. Look at the light on the right side, is the light red or green? If green you need to reverse it so the light is red.

This switches the accelerator and clutch pedals. Not really reversed telemetry, but yes the light should be green.

But if the pedals have been mapped in reverse to the current config it may explain the odd behaviour.

Either that or check the combined / separate axis setting in the Thrustmaster CP* (This kind of setting may only apply to a PC as consoles are more strict about how controllers are used)

Edit: is there any kind of config screen / menu for the wheel on the XBox? *PC only?
