If you experience loss of FFB after Alt-Tabbing the game on PC, please unplug and replug your USB cable from your wheel station. 
This should fix the issue. We are aware of some small issues with the T300 when players tab out of the game at the moment.

how can u say small issue its litrly unplayble in multiplayer 

i found that if you play singleplayer this fixes the issue, but if you play multiplayer it has to be in that specific session. i lost ffb at the qually in comp, reconnected wheel, and in the race i still didnt get ffb so i had to reconnect it for the second time. so the game is unplayable in multiplayer. i also get a weird thing where my game launches but isnt selected in windows or something so if u alt tab you have to select the game first before u can really alt tab. is this also part of the same problem?

If you start another app or use / load an overlay whilst the game is launched but not running this can affect the game in the desktop window manager. 

Always launch all other apps and overlays before starting. Some overlays only hook properly if the game is running in fullscreen, despite FSO on/off. 

Be interesting to see how many of these are Nvidia versus AMD issues. AMD overlay isn't really required as most things are launched by hotkey if the tray app is running.

FYI I use Afterburner and Steam overlays and neither have any issues despite the received wisdom that somehow disabling the Steam overlay is necessary. Use to use Discord which was most problematic (still not always an issue) but due to declining interest in league racing have dropped use almost completely.

WRT your comment about single vs multiplayer, multiplayer FFB has always been very different to single player (which has largely been robust despite whichever wheel I've used).

press pauze (can't do that online)
unbolt my wheel
remove usb
bolt my wheel back
enjoy the race...

That doesn't work. Unplugging the USB, restarting the session, then unplugging does work. The game is currently unplayable. 

.This also what i am finding.. 

• No FFB In qually
• No FFB In Race
• There is issues also in Singleplayer but not as inconvenient.
• If i fix it by unplugging and re-plugging in the qually the switch to race will break it again.
• Has nothing to do with Tabbing

Please don't reply to say its tabbing or firmware. it isn't. 

Its now Tuesday and i have not been able to set a qualifying lap or race the first few laps. i have to leave it on AI racing while i unplug the wheel

I face the very same problem with my T300 RS.

Have the last firmware installed and last drivers.

FFB simply does not work while driving, online or single player or even on career mode.

Funny enough, the will have a lot of resistance while in the game menus. :-) But as soon as enter driving FFB disappears.
Nothing to do with tabbing. I do not tab out of the game. Even when starting the game and going straight to driving it has no FFB at all.

Would be nice to have a bloody upgrade with a fix on this ASAP. It's frustrating paying nearly £50 for a game with EA App and not being able to play it properly. Simply ridiculous.

dont worry its frustrating to pay and getting update that literaly broke the game... before last update ffb was good and i gont know what they toutched but broke the game i thoug it was my g920 so i sold it an bought a t-gt 2 with f1 wheel and nothing lol finaly wasnt my wheel but in patch 1.07 they said they fix it

From 00:01:10 - 00:03:10 the error occurs and costs me valuable 2 minutes of the race. Ask for help!!

This does not fix the issue all the time you just have to get lucky honestly. Can't believe that is your best answer to what is a relatively simple issue to fix

we are almost at the end of september and this issue still persist. do you know when there we should expect a perment fix for this?

Last week, I changed my t300rs with a new one, and it worked quite well honestly. Only alt-tabbing i lost ffb. But today you patched and RUINed everything again. You start a lap (in hotlap for example) and you have it (not full strong but you have it) in third sector, everything is gone.

On the net I have found this workaround (waiting for the EA to fix it finally).

a. Open the Thrustmaster Control Panel and keep it active.

b. Start the game

c. If you don't get the FFB, alt-tab to the TM Control Panel

d. Test any of the FB functions

e. alt-tab to the game

At this point, the FFB should be working.

I used to have the same issue until recently when thrustmaster updated the firmware.

If you download and install the new firmware you shouldn't have this issue anymore and you can alt tab from the game without loosing ffb 

It is still not good even after installing new firmware! Now I don't lose FFB when alt tab, but I don't get it ever if the usb is  connected before game starts. And even worse, during League play it is totally random if I get it from a start of a game and it will never get back by it self either, connecting again can solves it sometimes but you don't want to do this in the middle of a multiplayer game. 

I can play time trial with FFB, then I join a league game and then it is lost.

EA can you fix this?

Most are saying this is now fixed.

Did you read this and check your settings are recreated or weren't lost?

my custom settings in the game was reset, but this was before I downloaded the new firmware. It solved alt-tab thing but not in league where you actually not just can plug in out and in which always solved the issue before for e.g. Time Trial
