To be 100% sure that you are up to date: On PC, open the TS-XW Control Panel and check the Firmware version. It must be notify V58.06 like on this picture: https://ts.thrustmaster.com/download/pictures/PCMAC/TSXW/TSXW_CPL_FW_V8_07.png
Also make sure that your game is not set in QUICK RESUME MODE (this mode brings lot of issues with steering wheels): https://ts.thrustmaster.com/faqs/eng/FAQ_About_Quick_Resume_Xbox.pdf
And to finish make, sure that you game is 100% installed on your Xbox before launching it.

@FisherSnake Yes I did the update before starting the game yesterday. Its now on 8.07 indeed. Quick resume I don't use any more for racing games. Also installed every fully
