Choppy steering animation

does anyone else's steering wheel rotation look like its really low framerate, especially in cockpit view? didnt experience this in f1 23 and i feel like it may contribute to feeling 'disconnected' with the wheel

@poosmelly19 I'd have to ask what your system is.
    I have a Ryzen 5950X 16 core Overclocked to 5.2ghz
Radeon 7900 XTX and 64 GB of DDR4 3600mhz Ram

I run exclusively in cockpit mode with the graphics on maximum settings (8k display running at 4k Res 144hz) and have had no issues.

not yet, but i think while the animation isnt smooth, ive noticed that sometimes the in game wheel doesnt match up with my real life wheel for a split second

  • @poosmelly19 Try setting the steering rotation to 360 degrees in the force feedback settings. It is on 400 degrees by default. I found this helped me a little.

I had this effect after running the game for the first time. Looked distracting.

In my case I got it solved by either limiting the FPS to a certain value (60) or by enabling VSYNC (yes I know the side effects of the latter).

Now everything is smooth as silk again.
