Expiry question aside, why are you asking this? There won't be new content added once F125 is launched, and as others have commented there's not a huge amount to spend them on currently anyway. My advise would be to only consider buying pitcoins if there is something specific currently available that you feel you want enough to justify the cost to you.
And note you won't be able to spend pitcoins bought for F1 24 in F1 25. Or at least the equivalent has not been possible in any past games so I'd be very surprised if this changed.
- @Ultrasonic_77 That's not the question that's REALLY being asked.
The real point here, is that EA was caught putting a clause into the Steam update files, stating that are all of a sudden "PitCoins to expire after 180 days AFTER PURCHASE if left unspent".
So the real question is, why is my money all of a sudden just set to disappear into thin air, for absolutely ZERO reason outside of pure greed, since no one is buying PC anyway?
You're (EA, not you specifically obviously) effectively going to be stealing content that I LEAGLY PAID FOR when I PREPURCHASED the Champions Edition, with nothing to compensate ME back for.
I'd argue back and say what I PAID for (The PicCoins) have not delivered any REAL OR NEW (NOT REUSED ASSESTS) content to even USE THE COINS TOWARDS. Where's my compensation if YOU don't deliver content that I decide to spend money on?
THERE'S NO REAL DLC. No Tracks, No REAL Liveries, NOTHING.
Absolutely BARRON.
No one is spending money on REUSED ASSESTS FROM F1 23 brother.
THAT'S the real question being asked by the obvious bait/spoof account.
Why is my money all of a sudden "Expiring"? @CadJuiceI totally agree that Pitcoins expiring is wrong.
Note I asked my question as the OP was asking about the expiry in a couple years of Pitcoins they haven't bought yet.- EA_Groguet5 months ago

- @SDGMatt That would be too much effort for them to do so. This should be criminal

Not a lawyer but read section 3 of the legal agreement posted above.
Seems to me like they expire in Japan within 180 days but not elsewhere BUT the company can stop honouring them at anytime. This is normal language for game “virtual currency”
Again, not a lawyer and there may be other restrictions in the rest of that legal agreement that I did not see.
