Brendon Leigh reckons it's a little better for what it's worth but a long way to go.
the new handling update is a lot worse than one on release.
the new patch has made the car pedals realistic and feel super heavy under braking and underperforming. The rear is too loose.
please return the handling to the one on release or provide a refund for the game.
Why have you listened to the youtubers and now ruined the handling model for this game it was so much better before the patch the back end is now WAY too loose you have ruined this game now all because of the youtubers cried
- @iiKIDOi No the handling was better on release than after the update. Cars too sluggish now

- shery_a_coleslaw2 years agoNew Veteran@JurassicStark6 It crushed me when I drove the updated handling.
They reverted basically everything. The braking was amazing but even that was reverted. I've been league racing in F1 since F1 2020 and I've put up with bad handling models before but having a good handling model only for it to be taken away has completely killed my desire to even keep playing this game.
If this is the handling model we're gonna be stuck with then I think I'm just gonna drop out of my leagues and call it quits for F1. This is only the beginning crybabies like Alex Gillon are pushing for more changes to be made
- shery_a_coleslaw2 years agoNew Veteran@JurassicStark6 Idk why they ever thought his opinion was of value. He's never driven an F1 car before in his life. If they consulted with Max for the handling and he said it was realistic then that's what they should've stuck with and anyone who didn't like it could cry about it. Realism should be the number 1 goal and it shouldn't be sacrificed to cater to people who apparently have no idea how fast these cars actually are.
- shery_a_coleslaw2 years agoNew Veteran@JurassicStark6 The kicker too is that now they REALLY do need to make changes. This is so much worse and the league racing community is already struggling. F1 22 almost killed the community and another year of a handling model that isn't fun to drive might be the final nail in the coffin for what was once a vibrant and thriving community in which I made several IRL friends.
- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@shery_a_coleslaw The changes - and it werent many - were not made to make the cars slower - in fact they barely got slower on a select few tracks..
Sliding through corners and being faster that way - unrealistic
some weird midcorner oversteer in low speed corners? unrealistic
Were the changes perfect? Far from it, do some esports drivers also say it improved things and people shouldnt try the same super egdy setups with the new handling? Yes some do
Its all not as easy as there were MANY complains of Esports drivers, drivers that had IRL experience with racing cars, so they had to change things.
