F1 2024 Sounds must improve for immediate immersion!
Hi EA/Codmasters Team development and audio developers designers!
The audio of F1 2024 game must step up! It’s enough of copy paste and cuts and shortcuts! You have massive potential and audio designers and engineers also talented people of community!
Analysis of previous game F1 23 did have minor improvements over the F1 22 and 21, it feels like we driving same cars sound wise/engines, poor job made/done by EA/Codmasters team’s designers, in the game in audio there is no depth no immersion there is no that feel and excitement of driving an F1 screaming monocoque! The flyby audio in replay feels dry and not Alive with no that distinctive sound notes of each and different engine manufacturers! The 3D environment lacking and feels poor, just see the audio and sound effects of less reach companies such as assetto corsa AC and the rFactor 2 and new sound king LM unlimited, master piece in sounds! Flyby’s are ears watering and popping and juicy and crisp!
F1 titles lack massive audio power! You year in year being told people want to hear Real F1 cars in our games! But we get copy paste! The cockpit sounds improved in previous game slight but lacking! The TV pod sound just quite often or in all lack and sound quite different from what real car sounds! I have F1 TV and when re watching races 23 the cam tv pod selected audio has more details more depth more intense moments of engine it feels alive! But when look replay of F1 game 23 is just desastre and quite off sounds like an hovering machine! The exhaust the crackles and down shifts and aggressive gearbox sounds and pops are just not there in game! Makes you feel you just playing or driving a body of F1 and sound is playing from something eles! Some F1 cars do sound near but same time far! Red bull Honda engine don’t have that distinctive brrrtttt ckrakle sound on low speeds and down shifts on corners! Mercedes the aggressive and hissing sound and deep grrrrrrr sound, Ferrari is quite close but still not there!
The exterior missing this nice crisp fine sound of exhaust and downshifts brrrrrrrrr with a mix of cracking and crispiness just missing the one we have in F1 23 is way way off!
Also why not to allow us community to have possibility of mods to create and recreate the sounds of our own to make and see if we can do something unique to unleash the great talents that community has!!!
LISTEN TO US EA/CODMASTERS TEAM LISTEN 👂🏻 WHAT COMMUNITY IS ASKIGN IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE THIS TITLE
people will have enough one day and go to governing bodies to get petition and recall the license and pass it to someone that do listen it’s mass community, it’s not a threat but hard reality, I always come in and out to see if there is improvement in this title but it’s just remains always same with little or no improvement/changes! And it’s sad 😔
I’m writing this because I do care for this motor sport for this esport F1 I grow up watching Michael Schumacher racing! And the master Ayrton Senna! I did race in my youth in carts and having opportunity to play some exciting racing game as F1 is amazing but when it lacks in some of the aspects that all together bring the ultimate experience and immersion and being part of that aspect it’s one of most important the sounds! You can have visuals and other eye Candy but if lacks the sounds you lose the connection and feel of racing and immersion!
experiment playing F1 game or any racing game with no sound you will feel what it feels when sounds let wish better or almost lost in middle!
This is my message to EA and Codmasters audio designers and engineers! You have time you have opportunity to surprise us all!
and if we had opportunity to make and use mods you will and potentially will unveil mega creative people that can bring something on the table and help you! As we all here must be on same team and we all have one thing in common is passion and love for best and most exciting motorsport on planet F1 highest level of racing!
Let’s make F1 better all together!
Best and kind regards to all fans of F1 and developers!
