It's pretty shocking. When you consider there are only 2 identifiers for a driver. Their number and then the helmet design. When you look at the options on MotoGP 24. You get about 50ish standard designs that are 100x better than F1 games in recent years plus you have a creation mode to design you own from scratch. F1 24 in comparison is embarrassing
Yes, that’s very clearly it. Customization on F1 has already been very limited and very ugly for a long time. No helmet publisher, no sponsors (Officials) and more. Developers really need to work on this because it's so outdated 🫤 ...
Being charged £89.99 for a Champions Edition only to find 1 helmet, suit, glove and car livery in the base game is honestly disgusting!!

Not even given the same designs as the last few years, but to have completely removed them is awful. Especially when the whole pre-order campaign revolved around getting a bunch of liveries for an F1 23 game you’re about to uninstall. That’s just useful to nobody!! Which genius came up with that idea? Fire them!
There was a lot of praise for F1 Manager 24’s new livery customisation options absolutely blowing Codemasters out of the water, so you might have expected F1 24 to step it up this year in response….. Codemasters response was just not to bother at all…

Yes that's exactly it. Customization is almost non-existent on F1 24! It was already very obsolete in previous years but now it's catastrophic. It really needs to evolve and quickly, it's just frustrating for the community, especially Xbox and Playstation players who don't have access to MODS to improve the game at this level. 🫤
@Keyz87uk Yes clearly in F1 it is so limited and unfortunately unrealistic. It is very popular that the customization of helmets evolves. The helmet is part of the identity of the driver and the F1 show, we see it with certain special liveries in real life which are just magnificent. It is also the identity of the players who should have free choice to make their helmet entirely with much more choice and customization. 😔 @issueskid13
