Hopes for f1 25
With lewis in ferrari, this year is an epic year in f1. Never like this year can we have a championship so close with more teams fighting. Ea/Codemasters' F1 must definitely change direction if it do...
Hey there,
Thank you all for sharing your suggestions and feedback. I have escalated this thread to the game team for monitoring.
We love to hear from you, but please remember to keep your messages civil and within our Rules and guidelines.

The game going forward has to improve and provide a more realistic experience for the players. I'm not suggesting in anyway that it should head in the direction of a full blown racing SIM, although that would be great I fully understand that they have to cater for all types of players and skill levels.
But there is so much more that can be improved to get more enjoyment from a racing perspective. Instead of spending all those hours developing more gimmicks, use those recourses to maybe improve the aging weather system and even create a basic helmet editor.
That alone would significantly improve the game, just those two examples. Spend more time to record better on board audio (Ferrari engine) being the perfect example.
Improve the utterly atrocious engineer chat and repetitive drivel he continues to spout out.
Little touches like a small debrief after each session with your engineer (Q&A) for example.
After a race, let us manually drive the car back to the pits etc.
Just focus more on the racing aspect rather than things that offer absolutely nothing.
Attention to detail is key!
what they but many companies do not understand that to make yours a casual player or not to lose the old acquisitions you have to create difficulties .... do not simplify things ..... in the case of a game like f1 is in the weather in the tires in the setups in the customization of a dg in the real asphalt in the tires good servers the aesthetics and the various * come after first a good base then the outline .... instead they work the opposite and lose and will lose

As for engine sounds. They're recording the samples form the F1 testing. Ok but what exactly is recorded? I mean the engine sound in the game sounds like it was extracted from the out lap. The sound the pitch and everything is so dull like choked engine is used. Why don't extract the sound from flying lap? I imagine no team would keep it secrect from the devs if asked about it. ✌️

If you want to feast your eyes, this is the right video. A 30-year-old game modernized, which shows that with passion and attention to detail, no matter how much budget you have, you can create real works of art. No comments or comparisons are needed here, just observe and ask yourself: this game is 30 years old, but seeing the car that bounces and loses grip once it goes on the curbs, makes me shed a tear of nostalgia. Where do I want to go with this? The whole team should be inspired by this, work with passion and where there is passion there are no limits.

All valid for F1 28ish 😆
As I won't be getting the game free this year I'll be waiting for it to go 40% discount a month after release 😂
@ScarDuck14 I would buy it right away only if codemasters announced, "David Greco is back" Haha. Not even the best marketing with never seen before improvements would be better than a return of David. 🙌
As I have been banned for trolling, I need to be very careful what and how I say. I am massively passionate about F1. Many people here have been playing F1 games tor many years. I have only played F1 23 and F1 24. I have purchased F1 as soon as pre-orders opened for Champion’s edition. The experience I had with the product was nothing like I have experienced before. Service and support was on a whole new level of inferiority. I do have hopes for f1 2025 and I do hope the whole series changes dramatically to focus on sporting aspect, development quality and user experience. As a customer, I can only do one thing: decide if I want to spend money on it. As the CEO of Ubisoft recently put it: if you do not like it, do not buy it. He had a huge level of confidence when it comes to preferences of his customers. But this is where I stop. Jun/Jul 25 will be a reality check. But also I value my time and will be willing to offer my feedback to those that do not ban me for raising concerns.

@LightPilgrimthey've even banned me a few times now. Wouldn't worry about it to much.
I am not worried, it is just disrespectful.
Hope I am not breaking any rules and not offending anyone. Came across this video and found the analysis interesting. The overall history of F1 games.
lets indeed see if 2025 will break the trend and become the best f1 game ever of if the Ikea furniture trend continues.
@LightPilgrimI see this video the other day. For most part he's right but in some areas he's off... But I'll give him credit for it overall as he obviously did research the video.
Also your not breaking any rules or offending anyone

@ScarDuck14Dear friend, here the only certain thing is that the game license is at very high risk. We really have to hope for a miracle, and here the miracle would only be to work with passion and test the game for hours and hours. F1 25 with f1 24 must have nothing in common, they must be like night and day. Let's hope we don't find ourselves without official f1 games in the next few years, we have already missed two incredible world championships like 2007 and 2008 without being able to play a game with an official license. Luckily there were games of the caliber of GP4 and Rfactor that with their mods and their splendid driving and physics did not make us feel the lack. I repeat again for the whole team, follow the story of Kunos, how much passion there is in that team. Everything is possible but the way forward is always that of a game more towards simulation.
I would always go for the long term. If we have to miss 2-3 seasons to see someone will skill and passion to reinvest the series, I would be ok. To me, if it will be like 2024, it is the same as not having anything.
This is not how companies work. The truth never gets to the top management because it would mean that a lot of people will be gone. Yes, they have business reviews and see sales figures. Byt I can tell you 179% that when the boss is asking why, they answer is not “we have a bad product”. Then the boss says: fine, move resources to areas where we see more profit. They look into the entire portfolio. The only hope you have is if someone gets to FIA. But…they are also covered here: Max, Lando and Charles will say - we gave feedback and the game is exact as we said it should be.
honestly, there is no hope:-)

@LightPilgrimThe problem is exactly that, false feedback. If the drivers really gave real feedback and not to encourage people to buy the game, no one would buy it. This is why I'm pushing on the forum to do some sort of collaboration with real drivers, whether they are test drivers or drivers of minor formulas. They know exactly how a real racing car behaves and EA should invest in these things if they want to improve the handling situation. For example, I would do everything to bring Greco back to EA, but not alone, supported by someone who can test his changes and give feedback. But that someone must have driven at least a little, racing cars.
For EA, F1 is irrelevant. It will not impact their stock. Max might advertise F1 game because he is paid, but you know that when it comes to his choice, it is iRacing,
