Am I right to assume EA will not be addressing issues we have all reported with the game anymore? Now all focus is on 2025?
The more I think about it, the more I realize it is the worst I have seen. Think GT7. It costs the same as F1 2024, but it is constantly updated and it is being developed all the time. The game is awesome.
F1 2024 was launched as a Beta version and till today not fully ready and yet, the game is dead and EA will leave it like this?
In terms of content for F1 World, season pass and the challenge career, I believe the plan was to have 6 seasons in this game so that would still leave 2 seasons worth of content.
The problem comparing GT7 with F124 is that GT7 is not a yearly release so there would likely be more QA time available to them as well as a bigger resource pool
Also, Codemasters/EA run each new game on a 2 year cycle so the team are essentially working on fixing one game while simultaneously working on next year’s game
For me personally, there is no desire to play the game anymore which is the first time in a while I’ve felt that way. GT7 and ACC have helped to fill that gap.
I do fear for F1 25 already with fierce competition from the likes of EVO and Endurance Motorsport Series for this year
Why do you fear? I think competition is better. And I do agree with you, GT7 showed me what F1 could gave been. No need to release a completely new game each year with not needed modules. Just a real and genuine reflection of the sport itself. Career model and a place to practice…that is all. Then updating it yearly to reflect changes.

We are still here and we haven't given up on the game. Lately, there has been a decrease in communication due to the holidays, but we are still monitoring the forums and I am still reporting everything to the game team to investigate

That's good to hear, but the question is are the team working on some of the essential issues that still ruin the game for many players?
I am still in disbelief that the controller handing hasn't been significantly improved since it was completely broken in a patch that was supposed to improve it? The amount of complaints from controller players after that patch was eye opening. Still the same!
Ferrari engine sound regardless of the statement put out that it matches real world audio is absolutely atrocious, just look at the amount of negative feedback regarding the sound.
DRS trains are still an issue, as is the aggressive AI that have extremely poor spatial awareness and just seem hell bent in trying to ram you off track.
I'll bet now that all that will happen regarding more things for F124, will be just focused on this live season rubbish that absolutely no one is interested in whatsoever.
I'm so bitterly disappointed with F124, it has been by far the worst release I can think of. Stripped back to the bare bones and a gargantuan bug fest with very little enjoyment.
The game needs a lot of work and hope some lessons have been learned for F125!
@SDGMatt when it come to bug reports being passed onto the devs. I know for fact @EA_Groguet does. He also continuely reports to them any bugs that multiple people post. I know this because when I was champion he was kind enough to always keep me in the loop and answer or chase up anything I asked him on our behalf. Within what he was allowed. @EA_Groguet Is honestly a stand up guy and imho the best CM EA have. Especially when working for us. However... unfortunately devs not appearing here isn't up to him. He can only do so much. I'd much rather we had the same system as we did on Codemasters own forums where Barry was ever present and who had intimate knowledge off game. But EA have different(worse) way off doing things.
As somebody who bought these games from the F1 2010 day's I can say I haven't touched the last 3 , wrong direction for me removing classics and replacing them with F1 life , world, super cars just zero pull for me to buy . Regarding this year even though it's currently on sale for £20 I still won't buy because I see no improvement to ai if anything it's actually regressed as seems just massive drs train's everywhere and ai on rails, zero fun or realism. If you trying to do classic scenarios etc you should take a blueprint if how moto gp 22 did it a dedicated mode it was very well done. Regarding ai it's been the same for years, absolute rails in qualifying never a spin , accident, red flag it's just racing bots. Also comparing it again to Moto GP which has all junior categories, riders all in the career, and live race stewards etc it's just more alive and exciting racing. And people complaining about lack of helmets etc well over 40 and a helmet editor are available there with zero mtx ..... This game just needs to change direction and vastly improve the ai and on track as it's stale and been the same if not worse now for years.
