You should be able to cancel the current pre-order and then pre-order the Edition you want. 

How can I cancel my pre-order?

  1. Log in to the EA Account Settings portal.
  2. Click Order History.
  3. Find your pre-order and click on the plus sign (+) to expand it.
  4. Under the Status column, click Cancel.

Heads up: If you cancel your pre-order and buy the game after it launches instead, you’ll lose any pre-order bonus content that comes with it.

    I'm seeing the same thing. Want to pre-order the Champions edition and take advantage of the 15% offer, but I can't select it in the app:

    How about instead of trying to figure out how to blindly throw your money at EA now for a game you hardly know anything about, you wait until the full reveal trailer in April to find out if the game is going to be any different/ better than F1 23. Might save you some money in the long run if it ends up being a disappointment.

    same problem with ea app, and on ea website we can choose the champions but without discount

    That looks to me like a web page that's behind the EA app just to show that it's showing full price.

    If you click there I'm sure it'll let you order, paying full price for the game, and losing the promised 15% discount.

    They're already aware.

    I've contacted support 3 or 4 times about this issue over the space of a couple of weeks, and it still seems to be the same.

    @TTV-ADHawkinsGH With all due respect, there's a significant difference for developers between getting feedback from the "contact support inbox" that's probably rarely monitored, and actually having a community manager come up to them and saying hey lads you have a problem, your code isn't working correctly.

    @TheRagebeard Fair enough. This wasn't just me filling in a contact form. This is me raising 4 or 5 tickets over the course of a 10 day period and speaking to an actual CS agent (all of whom promised it would be escalated and they'd be in touch...guess what?).

    Admittedly, whether the message did actually get passed on is up for debate, but they certainly shouldn't claim that nobody there knew about it until now.

    So, I still went ahead and bought it, I didn't get the discount at the end of the payment

    However, I did receive the new deliveries in F1 23, which shows it was indeed linked to my account

    And I contacted support via chat through the refund department and in response, I got:

    "I have checked the details and according to that, it seems you are eligible for the 15% discount however we do not have any official tool or sources to grant it manually so it is my humble request from you to wait for some time and reach us back after and I am sure till then we must have something to fix the issue for you."

    Then, "Please do not worry it will be fixed in the meantime."

    So, in short, either you wait to see if the bug is fixed, or if you do like me, maybe it will be resolved after but no certainty (but in any case, you will indeed get the benefits in F1 23 if you have bought F1 23 and F1 24 on EA).

    My advice is to wait. Trying to get refunds from any company is rarely a fun experience.

    also there’s really not any reason to hurry up and preorder. All your getting access to is a couple of liveries for time trial mode for a game that you won’t be playing in 2 months anyway.

    TLDR wait for the full reveal in April and see if F1 24 is even worth the upgrade in the first place.
