Some Questions to Carreer mode
Hey Racers,
I finally bought F1 24 and am about to start coop carreer with my buddy. I took a look at the new carreer system and I am quiet happy about the depth codemasters took into it.
Our facts and aims:
- Firstly, we want a challeging realistic carreer.
- Our difficulty level is always set in that way, that our pace is realistic to the team performance. No winning chance with an underdog team for example.
- We are expierenced F1 Gamers.
- Overall R&D rate is set on low (for more realistic development of the cars).
Because Career mode is a long time project for us, I like to have some questions answered:
1. Real Driver or custom driver?
- I noticed that there is a big difference in terms of rating, goals and acclaim between an icon like Schumacher and a new custom driver. If we start both with custom drivers, the influence on team development is 50/50, right? (if we start in the same team)
- The boosts on development I have, if I choose Schumacher, seem to be quiet strong. Is it possible, that 2 custom new driver in ferrari have less chance to develop the team to the top, then we would choose two icons with good ratings and influence?
- It is still not possible to set a real Name for a custom driver in Coop career right? I saw in races the real name of the icon is shown. But it seems for custom driver the stupid ugly psn-name is shown.
2. What do you recommend for a challeging career?
- If you choose a new custom driver, is the game designed to start with a lower team and to step up after a season or is it also possible to choose a top team from the beginning and to aim the constructor title? Or is a higher driver rating recommended for staying in a top team?
- Is depth and content missing if we already start with two top drivers like the icons? I guess the devolepment of the driver rating and their boosts etc. are already full envolved. Maybe this Driver devolepment and achieving new bonuses etc. is missing?
