When can we expect the F2 2024 content update?
Surely we shouldn't have to wait 5 months after launch like the last few years. There are brand new cars to enjoy driving! Why are they not ready at launch?
I would love to see F3 added to the game for some in depth career mode, and 30 more young drivers to add to My Team, but we need to get on the ball with F2 first. It's a bit of a let down!

It's a bit like launching EAFC 25 with the new Premier League roster, but having last season's Championship teams and having to wait 5 months for an update.
It's a brand new game for 2024. They should be releasing a complete game.
@Cpayne32It’s actually just 1 car with different liveries since it’s a spec series, and we’ve had to wait until late October in previous games for the update. That’s 5 months!
Consider that they created a whole bunch of Supercars (that nobody played) each with completely different handling and their own game mode for the last 2 years, and that they’ve were removed for F1 24.
So it’s not asking much to have expected the 2024 F2 car at launch of the new game…

Of course we wouldnt get the old cars for 5 months but the game would either launch again 4-5 months after season start or you would get a bugged/unrealistic car. As i said before i dont defend them generally taking ages to get the current F2 season. But they cant make a realistic car behaviour with somewhat trained AI within 2 months. The current handling problems are also because its rushed and not enough time to test and fine tune things, that stuff happens when people want it as early as possible, but again, taking till October without any changes is far too long, not arguing that!

The game is of course called 'F1', not something more general including F2. Selfishly I'd be quite happy if they dropped F2 entirely to focus on making the F1 experience better. Obviously loads of people are interested in F2 so not really suggesting this but there are reasons that the situation is different for F1 and F2 content.

Huh? It usually never releases until October/November. That's alot more than 2 months. It usually always comes out right about the time the season is ending and most people lose interest in the game itself by that point. It's not really a great decision to put it off this long. It should just ship with the current F2 cars and drivers rather than last years. At least that way we're able to use the current F2 drivers in my team mode as well. Although with just a small handful of liveries to choose from My Team mode is pretty pointless at this point anyways.
