2 Player Career Frozen after contract renewal

F1 24

Console- PS5

Game Mode- 2 Player Career

We had just completed the final race in our 16 race 2nd season, entered contract negotiations and the game is now unresponsive to the lead driver  once advance from contract negotiations was pressed. The player is left on the main career overview  screen but is unable to make any inputs via their controller. The game hasn’t crashed as their is normal movement of the driver and background  on the overview screen but the game doesn’t respond to inputs.

The other player is able to use the menus as normal and make changes to R&D etc.

The career mode is now impossible for us to continue and it was running as normal before this occurred.

any help would be amazing.

    Hi,

    This exact issue has literally just happened to me and my friend on our two player career mode. We are just about to finish our third season of this career, we’ve put a lot of hours into this and I won’t lie it’s quite disheartening to see. I know you’ve said this has been added as a fix for your upcoming patch, but what I would like to know is will this patch fix our current save that we currently have that we are stuck on? If this upcoming patch won’t fix our current save that we’ve put so many hours into then to have to restart everything again (which we’ve already done three times now since the start of the game’s release) then I feel like this is incredibly unfair to a game mode that is so fun and enjoyable to play with your friends and these common issues are so off putting.

    It’s not fixed, this issue of freezing/ crashing 2 player careers has happened on every game it’s featured in.

    Everyone is crying out for more modes but this game is full of bugs and has barely changed from previous games.

    I have bought every f1 game since 2009 but I really doubt I’ll be buying the next game at this point.
