Bought F1 24 from Steam, gets corrupted on installation.

I tried installing the game in 2 different drives, about 40 times in total, every time it gets to the same point and I get the "Corrupt Disk" message, I examined both disks and are working 100% fine, only game (or file, or folder for that matter) does not have any issues.

It is likely the download from Steam that is corrupted.

Try the installation again from a fresh download.

    Thanks.

  • I tried that more than 40 times, in different disks, tried every trouble shooting option available in any forum and support page in existence: Verifying library, uninstalling and installing again, validating game files, uninstalling my WHOLE steam library and reinstalling it, in different orders, clearing cache, restarting my computer, restarting Steam, etc. All of those have been tried at least 10 times each, and none have worked.

Memtest and maybe check the disk with diagnostic software and update the firmware if there is one available.

    Samsung Magician

    WD Dashboard

    Seatools for Windows

depending on your manufacturer. Other more esoteric brands may have their own diagnostic also (Crucial, Silicon Power, Corsair, Netac, etc.)
