Braking assist feels like its on after flashback

Product: F1 24
Platform:Steam-PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug When you use the flashback after a shunt, the game seems to put the braking assist on. Checked the settings and it's 100% off but approaching a corner and the game brakes for you with my foot fully down on the throttle. My only solution to this is a mid session save and restart EVERY Time! Please fix!
What is your 16 digit Report Code? JVKB-JJJE-CHVX-MGDC
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Fanatec CSL DD Mclaren GT wheel
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Virgin Media
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a crash involving multiple cars, usually terminal damage to the player car and then use flashback or the auto flashback.
What happens when the bug occurs? Braking assist seems like it's switches on by itself, nothing in the menu to tell me it's on.
What do you expect to see? Using flashback shouldn't change settings, the car should drive fine after an incident. Has never been an issue on previous versions.

Please fix!

@HarveyBradley98I don’t use wheel and pedals but know many top 1% guys that do. Havnt asked them but I do know they all add around 5 clicks off deadzone to brake in the calibration settings. Not sure if this will work in your case but worth trying if you havnt already

But then last year E-Sports Jake Benham mentioned he had 1% brake glitch that some people get and he said there’s nothing you can do but suck it up

  • I did think this but how would I resolve it? It seems to be after every red flag event or safety car event. I have to mid session save and load back in to fix..

Wheel is up to date, game is up to date.

    Thanks for the reply 👍

  • You are wrong it’s an actual problem I’ve tried it numerous amounts of times. Going into the settings and changing it from off to low, then back to off fixes it temporarily but eventually will happen again if you flashback. It also reduces the damage it’s been an issue since last year, at this point I almost think it’s a built in feature
