BUG: out of fuel in career mode at Monaco (F2)

So I started a career from F2 and got all the way to Monaco. During the race I am notified that I am running out of fuel, and sure enough with 2 laps left my tank is empty and cant drive the car anymore. I was also in 1st place haha. I tried easing the acceleration as much as possible, almost a third of every lap I would let inertia move my car, no input from me, but it didnt help at all.
FYI: you cant change fuel in F2, it is locked, and it does say 22.7 laps of fuel in the car before race (restarted race to check, and same thing happened), and the race has 21 laps in total. I am running out of fuel every time on lap 19.

I have uploaded my save file from just before the race if needed.

Platform is Steam - PC.

It almost happened at Spielberg track too, ran out of fuel during last lap when I was close to finish line this time.

Maybe it might have to do with car preset. On Monaco I had preset 1 (maximum downforce) and ran out of fuel 2 laps before finish, and at Spielberg I had preset 2. Since you cant change fuel in F2, this would make using presets 1 and 2 impossible. However this is just an assumption so far, as Im not sure the preset is the fault.
